Marielle's journey into the world of fitness began at the tender age of 8, when she transformed her parents' backyard into a playground for fitness enthusiasts. From that early start, she developed a deep passion for helping others discover their potential through physical activity. Despite facing mental health challenges in her teenage and young adult years, Marielle found solace and purpose in movement, which laid the foundation for her future endeavors.
Despite her stature, Marielle defied expectations by excelling in volleyball, earning a spot on her high school's varsity team as a freshman and competing fiercely on travel teams throughout the United States. After her volleyball career ended, she discovered a new passion for weightlifting, finding empowerment and mental resilience with each lift. Alongside her athletic pursuits, Marielle pursued a degree in psychology, delving into the complexities of human behavior and cognition.
Throughout her 12-year journey in weightlifting, Marielle became deeply convinced of the transformative power of physical activity on mental well-being. She advocates for self-transformation through motion, emphasizing the profound connection between physical and mental strength. With her belief that true change begins from within, Marielle is dedicated to empowering others to unlock their potential and enact positive change in their lives. She trains out of Tampa, Florida and worldwide online.
